Montepulciano -    Ciliegiolo

VINEYARDS
Family organic vineyards in Valdaso (Fermo), a small village in the centre of Italy.
Density for hectare: 3300 spurred cordon rows.

WINEMAKING
During the rosé vinification process, the grapes undergo cold maceration for 12 hours, followed by a soft pressing, in order to obtain a partial extraction of colour from the berries while retaining freshness of the fruity aromas.

WINEMAKER TASTING NOTES
A lovely rosé colour with sweet plum and strawberries in the background. 100% Montepulciano grape with a crisp and juicy finish with strawberry. Served chilled and enjoyed best during spring season.

WINE TASTING TIPS
Tall glass with slender bowl, which captures the nuanced, delicate floral and fruit aromas and guides aroma straight to the nose.
The best temperature to serve pri-ma-vè-ra is 12 -   14°C.

FOOD & WINE
It goes perfectly with fish soups, grilled fish, but also delicate salami, roasted white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
