Pecorino – Fiano – Malvasia

VINEYARDS
Family organic vineyards in Petritoli (Fermo), a small village in the centre of Italy.
Density for hectare: 3300 spurred cordon rows.

WINEMAKING
Harvest season: mid-September.
Pre-fermentation maceration happens in stainless steel. Aging takes place over years in small concrete tanks.

WINEMAKER TASTING NOTES
Intense golden colour wine, with a delicate aromatic bouquet reminiscent of apricot with hints of citrus and honey. Clean fruit flavours, intense but elegant on the palate and finish.
Production is very limited, a small cuvée of a thousand bottles.

WINE TASTING TIPS
Large bowl with narrower top directs wine to the tip of the tongue, allowing the drinker to detect flavour nuances: canned fruit, pastry, spices.
The best temperature to serve Liù is 14°C.

FOOD & WINE
Suitable to accompany typical dishes of Italian gastronomic and long-aged cheeses.
