100% Sauvignon

VINEYARDS
Family organic vineyards in Petritoli (Fermo), a small village in the centre of Italy.
Density for hectare: 3300 spurred cordon rows.

WINEMAKING
Harvest season: first ten days of September.
Sauvignon is fermented at relatively low temperatures in stainless steel with the intention of preserving every bit of youthful fruit. This white wine was aged in concrete tanks.
Production is very limited, a small cuvée of a thousand bottles.

WINEMAKER TASTING NOTES
A dry white wine with powerful aromatics ranging from juicy citrus to distinctive herbaceous aromas.

WINE TASTING TIPS
Tall glass with slender bowl, which captures the nuanced, delicate floral and fruit aromas and guides aroma straight to the nose.
The best temperature to serve Gnenoccia is 10 -   12°C.

FOOD & WINE
Pairs with herbal and fairly acidic dishes and sushi.
