Organic viticulture and rules

Organic farming is a philosophy. It's a way of producing food that respects natural life cycles. It minimizes the human impact on the environment and operates as naturally as possible.

Chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, antibiotics and other substances are severely restricted and genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are banned. On-site resources are put to good use, such as manure for fertilizer. Organic farming targets consumer confidence, environmental protection and food quality.

The EU has developed comprehensive rules on organic production, processing, distribution, labeling and controls. Respect for nature is for us a deep commitment.
Our vineyards are a complex ecosystem in which agriculture and (wild) nature coexist harmoniously, creating high-quality grapes.
